In this new series, customers who visit the atelier talk about their memories of Chiyono Anne. In the first installment, we have Ms. K, who has been using Chiyono Anne lingerie for over five years. We asked her about her first impression of the brand and the things she pays attention to when ordering.
CA: What was your first impression of the atelier?
K: It's simpler than I imagined. There's no signboard, and it doesn't look like a shop at all, in a good way, so I thought it had a very nice atmosphere. You can see the work space, so it's fun to imagine, "They make it here."
CA: When do you wear Chiyono Anne lingerie?
K: I would really like to wear it every day, but I think that if I did that, it would lose its momentum, or it would lose its special feeling. That's why I try to wear it on special occasions, like the day I wear my favorite clothes for the first time, or when I meet someone I like. I think that wearing it makes me look more beautiful than usual, regardless of the situation, such as being seen by someone. Also, on days when I want to be enthusiastic but don't have the energy, I consciously wear lingerie because it lifts my spirits.
CA: Does lingerie change your everyday fashion?
K: Sometimes I choose clothes thinking, "It would be cute if Chiyono Anne's lace could be seen through this outfit." I think there is still an old-fashioned value system that underwear should not be shown, but I think, "Why not show it when it's so cute?" By wearing it confidently, my own consciousness has changed, and I feel that the reaction of those around me has changed from erotic to cute, and I think it's interesting to see the way my way of thinking and that of those around me is shifting.
