Case #4 Bridal Order T-san
CA: What was your first impression of Chiyono Anne?
T: As this was my first high-end bespoke experience, I was excited and nervous because there were no samples and each color and material had to be customized. However, when I actually visited the atelier, I was put at ease by the comfortable space and Chiyono's polite service. The sketches she proposed were also very professional, and when I saw the finished product, I was reminded once again how glad I was to have asked Chiyono Anne to do the work.
CA: Please tell me what you ordered this time.
T: I ordered a three-piece set consisting of a silk jacket, lace trousers and a bustier. Renting a typical wedding dress costs almost the same as buying one. On the other hand, even if you buy one, you won't have many opportunities to wear it after the ceremony, and I've always felt that it would be a waste to let it sit in the closet. Then, a friend who couldn't hold her wedding ceremony due to COVID-19 told me about how she had re-dyed her custom-made wedding dress black and arranged it so that she could wear it forever. Inspired by that wonderful idea, I chose a separate design so that I could continue to wear it in the future, not just once.
CA: What points did you pay particular attention to when placing your order?
T: I told them that I've always been able to slim my upper body through dieting, but I have a self-consciousness about my legs. The design they proposed was a very lovely outfit with a well-defined silhouette, with a loose lower body and a tight waist using a bustier. I think the fact that it fits my body perfectly is one of the charms of bespoke clothing.
CA: Finally, what does Chiyono Anne mean to you?
It is a symbol of women's empowerment. Wearing it gives you a sense of luxury,
I think it's a wonderful brand that can even boost your self-esteem.
