Chiyono Anne Yeager
Born in Tokyo to an American father and a Japanese mother, he grew up in London and New York.
After earning a degree in Japanese from SOAS, University of London, she studied abroad at Waseda University, where she researched the impact that the changes in women's underwear during the Meiji Restoration had on women's clothing in general and on women's psychological liberation.
She then completed a master's degree at De Montfort University in the UK, where she studied bespoke lingerie design, which has a psychological and emotional impact on the wearer, and was exposed to traditional British tailoring techniques on Saville Row in London.
In 2014, she launched the bespoke lingerie brand "Chiyono Anne." She creates lingerie that is made for each individual, something that cannot be mass-produced, and she hopes that by wearing it, women will be able to express their innate beauty as well as find joy in it.
